Since we're causing a burden on the people here when it comes to resources, has anyone thought about us maybe relocating somewhere else? A large city would be easier for us to blend into.

We can definitely still be infecting people if'n we move somewhere else. I got no way of knowing if whatever the people have vaccines to in 2017 already was countering what we brought. But the 1950s definitely had way less vaccines then we got in the future. I ain't willing to risk that.

And Sam brought up a good point. A lot of our people ain't able to just blend in somewhere else.

Aside from the illness my concern with that idea is that there are people who can't blend in who'd draw a lot more attention in a city. Yeah, magic users might be able to do glamours to make them look more like everyone else, but the 50s were all about conformity and I'd bet the majority of us don't know how to fit in well enough for that. Not during McCarthyism.

Besides which if anyone new arrives that's gonna leave them stranded in shitsville until we send someone to check on the place. We could take shifts, have someone here all the time, but a small group would have trouble handling security, staying comfortable and keeping a close enough eye on the whole area to be sure to catch everyone before they decided to head to the nearest town.
