Hello, my darlings. Since I'm still fairly new around here and haven't gotten to spend time with each of you individually, I wanted to reach out and re-introduce myself for those of you who might only know of me or know a previous version of me. You may call me Ms. Frost or, if you must, Emma. I'd like to get to know all of you in time.

We find ourselves in interesting times and I recognize this can be tense or stressful, especially if you're not used to such attention from entities as large as the United States military. I wanted to make a few things clear to any of you who might be feeling uneasy. First, the X-Men have dealt with large threats before on numerous occasions and have, historically, managed to win. Second, we do not abandon our own. If you ever find yourselves hurt or in trouble, someone will come for you. Every time. Third, I want none of you to mistake our complacency for apology. Right now, we are doing our very best to cooperate with the military in hopes of deescalating this situation - and we all expect you to be on good behavior with us. That does not mean we are in the wrong here or that any mutant or otherwise gifted individual should feel even an ounce of shame about who they are or what they can do.

If you can read this, it is because someone cares for you. I hope each of you has someone you feel comfortable turning to in trouble. You are all welcome to message me or stop by the mansion for a chat if you are feeling overwhelmed or need assistance. The senior X-Men care as well; each of them are doing their part to smooth out these troubles and they do so in the hope that we can all lives our best lives and feel safe. If you have concerns or ideas, share them in a polite and respectful manner. If you're not feeling heard, talk to us.

Whatever histories we have with each other, whatever issues may be there (significant or otherwise), however many dysfunctions we share, we are a team. If it comes down to it, I expect you to have each other's backs.

All of that said, I'd like for us as a group to consider a monthly team building exercise. What do you think?

I wanted to make sure you were aware of the nonsense going on with the military. If you use your powers, be smart about it. And if anything happens or you find yourself in a spot of trouble, let me know, won't you? I'd hate for something to complicate our arrangement.
