"It's all right," she said, brushing back her hair. "I am glad you're joining me, though. It's nice to have a friend to talk to. After all, they say you should never drink alone. Why, I think the same should be said of food. Not that, well, I don't mean that you would gorge yourself on food on your own. But I just mean that it gets lonely when you're eating alone. But now we're both lucky that we have each other.
"And I haven't heard that there are many troubles today in Maintenance," she said. Elinora sometimes felt as though she was responsible for the Ministry instead of Minister Shacklebolt. She knew that she didn't have the marks or governing spirit to truly achieve such greatness, but she felt as though everyone needed a helping hand and she wanted to be that hand. So she kept an eye on Magical Maintenance and paid even more attention if there looked to be a flurry.
"Oh! The Leaky!" Nora said. "I haven't been by to see your mother yet. Perhaps I'll go there while you're there. As long as you promise that you won't look when she gives me the recipe." She smiled. "Your mum will be there, won't she?"
