Get yo game on.
MINISTRY SCAVENGER HUNT At 9.00am, all Ministry employees are assembled at the Atrium. They are promptly divided into smaller groups and advised that the day's activity will involve a scavenger hunt around London. The groups are given on handheld video camera to ahem chronicle their adventures The Ministry employees are all given Oyster cards with enough money to get around to the clues, nothing more, and are told that no magic can be used at any time. The hunt goes until 5.30pm and the first team to reach the Atrium will get prizes. We will randomise the winning group and post the result on Friday! The groups are: DMLE → Rosie, Vivean, Sergio, Iona, Laeli, and Danielle. → Simon, Connor, Lucy, Alastor, CJ, and Gwen. → Jim, Eddie, Zeina, Mei, Katrin, and Lance. → Tristan, Kiera, Julienne, Spencer, and Aurelie. DMAC → Charlotte, Ashling, Jamila, Khatia, Samara, and Rox. → Gareth, Isobel, Samuel, Matty, Hansel, Chance, and Kee. → Gavin, Silas, Rebecca, Clem, Taryn, Max, and Tess. DIMC → Niall, Anand, Charls, Morgan, Hugo, and Asher. → Lennox, Caroline, Scorpius, Aidan, Hawthorne, and Aaron. ATRIUM → Martha, Hamish, Zurich, AJ, Min, and Elinora. DJWA → Lystrom, Pascal, Matias, Stasi, and Evelyn. → Molly, Cal, Alex, Esperanza, Blair, and Agnez. → Eli, Joe, Bernie, Fiona, Sebastian and Mark. WESTMINSTER (1) BOUDICEA Thomas Thornycroft’s imposing statue of her in her chariot stands on the north side of Westminster Bridge. The group must re-enact the statue (horses included) and take a photo of their efforts, making sure that the statue is in the background. (2) GODIVA In the shop located on Regent Street, the Muggleborn shopkeeper will direct the group to find an unwrapped chocolate frog in a big tank of chocolate pebbles. Everyone can have a go! The chocolate pebbles are charmed not to melt. If the shopkeeper likes the look of you, he may give you a small gift bag of chocolate on your way out. Extra point: En route to the next location, one member of the group will piggyback another ala Lady Godiva (no nudity required). Photographic evidence required of the rider looking badass, pls and thank you. (3) CABINET WAR ROOMS Dress up and do an impersonation of Churchill barking orders and looking manic. Alarm parents and scare small children. SOUTH KENSINGTON (4) SCIENCE MUSEUM They have to go to the Telecommunications exhibit and use the model telephones to relay a message from one end of the room to the other. Without shouting. (5) HYDE PARK Get photobombed by a horse. Groups may use apples to prompt this response. (6) QUEEN'S ARMS Chug down a pint. Or drink leisurely. Who cares about winning anyway~ GREENWICH (7) THE MARKET Find and buy the strangest item ever. Muggle money in the amount of 10 pounds each was given to the groups. SOUTH BANK (8) GOLDEN HIND Re-enact the "Jack, I'm flying!" from Titanic. Take photos. Prepare to be shamed. WEST END (9) NATIONAL GALLERY Find the Fighting Temeraire, randomly ask a stranger what they see. Respond with "A bloody big ship." Then walk away all huffy. (10) CHINATOWN Find a golden cat and wave at passersby in time with it. One or two members of the group may do this but if everyone does, that means extra points.
