Poor John. If Tabby knew, or ever she ever found out, she'd feel sorry for him and that bad situation he was stuck in, ugh. No one would like being put in his shoes, that's for sure.
Tabby shook her head at that look. Some things never change, that's for sure. "Don't even start with me, you." She chuckled a little, though, the familiarity was nice, even if it was him being fresh. "That's good to hear. I'm sure we'll have a lovely chat once I run into her again." She brushed a stray lock of hair back behind her ear, glancing around the room as she did so.
