Bane had been laying low for a while following a deal with Intergang and was back in Gotham City for about an hour before he headed for the slum bars. He had developed a few new ways to administer the supersteroid Venom into his bloodstream that proved effective and easier than a syringe in certain situations. He sat watching a baseball game on the television above the bar, drinking a shot of tequila every so often.

"Hey Seniõr, another tequila if you please." He was far from drunk and sat watching the game, having made bets with some other bar patrons. Bane smiled as the game ended, having won almost 300 dollars. Fortunately for the sore losers they weren't willing to pick a fight with the musclebound Spaniard.
