Who: Lia and OPEN What: Staring out at the world Where: A private hospital When Thursday Evening Rating: pg-13
She had gotten better. Or more, she'd gotten control. Not that it mattered much to the people here. She could, for the most part, only see things when she tried. Oh there were some things that were too strong, so no matter how hard she tried to stop it, just a touch sent images pouring into her head. She still couldn't talk, at least not out loud, and that scared most of the nurses and doctors. So she just kept to herself. Hoping that by being cooperative, she'd get out. Sooner rather than later. Lia had no idea what she'd do with her life once she got out but at least she'd have one.
Her family never even visited her, and she knew she was probably disowned. It only bothered her because they knew. They knew she wasn't insane, that she was seeing real things. And instead of helping her, finding a way to make it help and be important, they just shut her away. With a sigh she drew her cards and glanced out the window. Solitaire and people watching. It was all she had planned for the day.
