"Alright, alright, this way." He did not even try to sound hassled this time. He let her pull him out of the shade, enjoying the comparative warmth of the rare sunny day. While he took the lead, he spared her an indulgent look at her claim. Idly, he wondered how long such a determination would win out, although he did grimace slightly as he weighed his determination against her stubbornness and found it coming out in her favor.
That thought put haste into his step, and soon he was leading her away from the village and to the winter storage. As he had hoped there was no one about when they arrived. Drifting snow blew over the top hatch and flurries had blown some into the corners of the submerged room. A sense of satisfaction and rightness came over him as he surveyed the place where he considered that he really met Imenry.
Turning to face her with a sudden pivot, he prodded her in the side with his free hand, "Do you remember?" His smile was teasing, although his continued poking was even more pestering. But that was his way, and most people were used to it by now (even if they did not come to enjoy it quite as he did).
Still, his eyes watched her closely, curious as to her reaction upon seeing their old childhood hide-away. The idea had come to him the day before, when he combed through his childhood memories with a fond smile. He had not been back in a long while, and that had prompted the trip today. This in turn lead to him wanting to bring Imenry here. As it often was these days, thoughts of Imenry eventually turned to other thoughts and...well, that was why there were here now. The top hatch, which usually took two men to lift - it kept the larger animals from trying to get to the food if they happened to come this high up, had been moved with magic, although it left him tired for some time. That was enough training for the day, now was time for more pleasurable pursuits.
