Lillie paced more, trying to think of what she could do, how she could help. She knew her words to Ordhan weren't enough to justify keeping Azabeth from whatever justice they accusers demanded. Letting out a long breath she tried to think, what would Matthew do. What would he want her to do.
"Maybe... I'm going to write to him. I'll ask if he's willing to meet with you, maybe just outside the city before we return? I'm sure he has more answers."
While it was true that she kept the nature of Matthew's work and his name out of the discussion, she'd told him everything she knew about the recently situation; which was incredibly little. This was the only thing else she could think to offer that might give more answers to Ordhan. If he truly did want to learn the truth, and she could hope that was the case.
She bit her lip and returned back towards Ordhan, sitting across from him. "I know that many knights would not bother trying to learn the truth. They would simply do their job and be done with it. I just wanted to say... thank you."
