Lillie stared down at Conlan when he spoke. She felt drained from the fight. She'd not been accustomed to this. In fact, before coming to travel with this group, the number of times she'd used her magic had been few and far between. Clearly she would need to practice some more. She could not be weakened after every battle.
"Don't be foolish," she chided Conlan softly, though her eyes flashed down at him. "You could have gotten yourself killed like that! I know you're immune to their blood but that doesn't make you invincible. We're looking to you to lead us Conlan, not die on us before we face the horde."
Softening then, she offered him a small smile. "It was very brave, but next time the results could be catastrophic. I think maybe we need a better attack plan for the future." Sitting back heavily she sighed as the warmth of healing power faded from her. She blinked slightly, feeling a little dizzy. "Can you sit up?" she asked softly.
Hissra was already straightening up, his eyes somberly scanning the group that had gathered. "New elves have arrived," he commented. "One seems to know the Dalish Warden."
