Arya glanced from trying to compensate for the movements of the horse to the battlefield, surprised to see the majority of the creatures already defeated. Obviously the darkspawn were no match for this group, whoever they were.
"Yes, yes I'm fine," she responded, one hand going to her head to make sure her hair was at least falling over the right side, covering her scar. Rescue was all well and good, but there was no reason to be entirely exposed to a group of people she'd just met. The blonde elf felt out of sorts and taken aback, still reeling from what had just occurred - it really had only been a few minutes, but the adrenaline she'd felt was still running through her veins. The horses shifts were becoming less frightening to her, and she gripped her bow tightly in her free hand.
She felt alert and awake, far more so than she'd been in the tree, and knew that once it wore off she'd be tired beyond belief. The darkspawn hadn't had time to get close enough to her - she'd managed to keep them back with her arrows, and upon the arrival of these people, they'd been completely distracted and had apparently forgotten about her.
The elf glanced to where the rider was looking - the crazy shem who'd ran in front of the darkspawn, distracting them all, had fallen, and Arya couldn't help but feel a slight pang of guilt. After all, he'd been distracting them from her in the tree. If she hadn't been there, he probably wouldn't have been driven to such a stupid act. Then again, she didn't know him, so maybe... But that didn't dissipate the fact that he'd done an incredibly brave if stupid thing.
"Does he do that sort of thing often?" Her question was innocent, curious. "I hope he's all right..."
