Lillie was quiet for a moment, studying the darkness of the woods stretched behind them, playing the wildflower between her fingers. Something about Ordhan's mention of Tamrith made Lillie want to talk more and so she did, her other hand plucking idly at the fabric of her dress. "She was a good friend. We were friends since I started working at the Pearl. She was a year older than me but I still thought she acted like a child sometimes." Lillie gave him a small smile. "Of course, I also thought myself terrible grow up for my age." She laughed. "I suppose in the years I worked there we were each others confidants. We would just be there for one another if we'd had a hard night or if something had gone wrong, or even if something wonderful had happened. Have you... ever had a friend like that?"
She smiled at Ordhan's suggestions during battle, the thought that he would somehow protect her was sweet. It was silly to think that she could forever escape the notice of the rest of the group, but for the moment she was inclined to agree with him. She nodded slowly. "I think that for now, that would be the best bet. At least until I get a better idea of how the others feel."
She didn't know most of these people, didn't know their feelings on magic. Ordhan, who she'd known perhaps the best, had never even spoken to her of magic before this time. It wasn't something she saw fit to discuss with most people. In any case, it helped to have a friend of sorts. "The siege of Denerim... changed many lives. I think we're both different people because of what happened then. If it's what drives me now to help you and the others... then I can't ignore it."
