The dwarf only waved a hand at Ordhan's protests while the knight stood, as perplexed as ever, waiting for some sign that the other had been joking. But there was none, or at least none that he could find. It left no alternative but to take it literally. If that made him look foolish, he would look foolish.
The suggestion drew a short huff of a laugh from Ordhan, whose brow was still knit in confusion. "I would not force it on you," he said with a trace of humor, ever so rare for the knight.
