His one battle on the surface had taught Cyril many more tactics that he had never needed to consider before. Prior, he had only fought alongside other warriors, where there was no real weak link or anyone who needed to be protected. The only time he could remember considering such things was when there was a new, and much less experienced, recruit.
It was not that there were no diversity among Dwarves, merely that he had never fought along side any but warriors.
Still, to each his own, and Cyril might have liked less shiny armor (well tended mind, but shine can be dangerous) and he loved his traps, while the man was quite different. "Your loss- er, what's your name?" If he had been told it, it had passed out of Cyril's mind.
