She nodded as he denied her offer of fruit and wiped her hands on the apron she had tied around her waist. "A girl can dream," she commented about the state of the city with a light shrug. While she hoped things would quiet down for her she didn't hold a lot of faith in it. Taking a deep breath she let it out slowly and nodded once more. "I thank you again for your help, Ser Ordhan. If you're ever in the market again and find yourself in need of some produce I can offer you a handsome discount," she told him with a nod and a light smile. "I'm sorry if I've kept you too long. Good day to you, sir," she said with a respectful sort of curtsy.
While she would have liked to engage the knight in conversation longer, she understood the importance of his duties and didn't want to keep him from them. The conversation they did have, however, had been a nice one and for once since moving into the city, Æolyn felt as if everything was actually going to be alright despite the hurdles she had in front of her. Even the littlest bit of friendship in this sea of hate was a refreshing and renewing thing to her.
