This was it. She was done for. Æolyn had all but resigned herself to the gallows at this point. She was generally a pretty positive person, but she was sure that her nerves were showing now. Down in the bar she'd been very confident in telling everyone she wasn't the mage they were accusing her of being, but being alone in this room... she couldn't do it anymore. She closed her eyes as everyone arranged themselves in the room, drawing deep breaths in through her nose and letting them back out slowly through her mouth.
She listened half heartedly to Rhocanth. She hadn't really done much to sway the fighting one way or another. Lyn wasn't the confrontational type because she didn't really have the skill set for it. She could protect herself well enough if she needed to, her father had taught her to weild a blade, but it just wasn't in her direct nature. Slowly, she opened her eyes up again when he asked for their names. Biting her lower lip softly, she cast a nervous glance at the other dwarf beside her and then looked back at Rhocanth. "Æolyn. Æolyn M'Haaren," she answerd, trying to keep her voice as steady as possible.
After she'd spoken her name she wondered if she should just go ahead and admit to the magic. She could see the Templar and other woman talking to each other though she couldn't hear what was being said very clearly. Taking a deep breath, she resolved to just get this over with. "What the man downstairs said was true... I did stun him. I'm..." she falterd on her words, suddenly more nervous to speak these words aloud than she ever had been in her entire life. "I'm a mage."
Every muscle in her body suddenly tensed at her words, waiting for some sort of expolsion. She waited to hear the Templar declare her an apostate and just off her head right then and there. Her eyes moved across every face in the room, before landing on Rhocanth's. She'd only ever told two people outside the Dalish camp she was a mage and she never thought the next time she'd say it she'd be in the compant of a Templar. Just her luck.
