Rather than being insulted Lee found herself growing more and more amused by the boy’s antics. Standing back up, eyes sparkling with laughter, she nodded seriously down at Constans, sweeping her arm out and bending into a bow. “It pleases me that you think of my services so highly. It is an honor to be called competent by one such as you.” Rising from her bent position she watched him dart off with an amused sigh.
“Truly you are too generous today,” she called back, snorting in amusement when the first article of clothing came shooting out into the main room. Walking forward to grab the tunic she stopped when in quick succession the rest of Constans’ attire came flying out. Once it seemed the barrage of garments was over she bent down to quickly fold the clothing, tossing them over her arm, before heading back towards the tray she had brought with her.
Prepared to grab the practically empty tray Lee paused when her gaze landed on the bunk Constans had inhabited before she came in and glanced back towards the bathroom. Rummaging around quickly, letting out a muffled cry of joy when she found what she wanted, she tucked her hand under the boy’s pillow. Frowning when it would not lay flat the girl tried to smooth it out, nodding moments later in success.
Pleased with herself she hastily grabbed the tray, balancing it on one hip and slowly headed for the door. Carefully pushing the door open, eyes focused on the items held in her arms as she tried not to drop anything, she came to a sudden halt. Eyes wide she choked down a laugh as one of the eldest Senior Enchanters slowly ambled down the hall right in front of her. Holding her breath she turned her gaze to the ceiling. Focusing with all of her might on the stones she desperately tried not to look at him, Maker forbid she pictured him sporting Constans potential fashion choice, and waited patiently for his footsteps to fade away.
Glancing around for the older man the instant she could no longer hear him walking she collapsed against the empty doorframe in hysterics when she could not spot him. Hearing someone’s throat clear her laughter came to a sudden halt; peering up guiltily Lee spotted one of the Templar’s staring at her. Coughing softly she offered the man a weak smile and pushed off from the doorframe, tacking on a small bow, before shuffling off to drop off Constans’ clothing and pick up his robe.
Once the Templar was out of sight she started laughing again, her voice echoing down the corridor behind her.
