Unimpressed with his stubborn refusal to be healed Lee merely sighed, barely resisting the urge to roll her eyes and pocketed the offered vial. If wanted to run around in discomfort that was his own choice, she was most certainly not going to shove a potion down the boy’s throat. Still, she thought with a small measure of relief, at least he had decided to go through with the bath; the water would ease any soreness the silly little thing might be suffering from and cleanse any cuts hiding under the layers of dirt.
Staring in disbelief at Constans’ dignified pose the girl quickly brought up a hand to cover the smile spreading across her lips. It would probably not be a good idea to laugh at him but Maker how she wanted to. As a small chuckle slipped past her lips she quickly bit down in an attempt to muffle the sound, taking in a deep breath to ease away the remaining laughter.
Gracefully rising to her feet, running a hand over her robes to smooth out the creases, she inclined her head towards the younger boy. “I shall take your clothing for washing and request that they mend any damages to the best of their ability. When your clothing is repaired I shall then return to you with the upmost haste. Does that sufficiently meet your expectations?”
Unable to stop herself from rolling her eyes this time she merely shook her head at the boy standing in front of her. He was such a stubborn little thing, so proud. She was finding it strangely endearing, probably more so than it should have been. She doubted he would appreciate the sentiment coming from her but the poor boy was too adorable
“Do not be so silly, while you may be expected to wear robes you do not need to; you can always choose to go nude. It is simply a matter of preference” she said, face straight and voice serious. “Of course we would prefer you to be fully clothed but no one is going to force you into a garment against your will.”
Done with her teasing she bent down to look him directly in the eyes, face softening, and offered him a gentle smile. “I promise you that wearing robes will not be that bad but do rest assured that I will personally return your clothing to you the moment that they are properly cleaned and mended.”
