Re: As Seen From Below: Puck Runs into a Dwarf
Ordhan led the way and Lillie followed; trying to keep close to his taller form in the crowded market place. It wasn't long before the rest of the group fell in around them as they approached the dwarf and his capture.
Puck was panicking now, and he bunched one meaty fist as if to punch the dwarf, hoping his size would give him enough power to break free. The punch was only half-swung when the voice behind him had Puck pausing, swallowing hard and turning around.
He stared up at the tall knight and the crowd of people gathering around. "I... what do you want from me? I didn't do anything! He just grabbed me! Please, I have somewhere else to be!"
Lillie raised a brow, finding it hard to believe that such a stupid coward of a man had been involved in Tamrith's disappearance. He must be very low in the chain of command. That was why he was posing as a merchant in Denerim instead of overseeing the slaves himself, no doubt.
She wanted to march up to him and demand he talk, but she doubted very much she'd be as threatening as the other companions, so she hung back and simply watched.
