Re: Alienage Back Entrance
Dolain stood beside Darrian as the other elf registered what had been said. He adjusted his clothing absently as a tense, silent ten seconds went by. At Darrian's strangled response, he shrugged. At Darrian's shocked response, Dolain shrugged again. At the decisive suggestion for Lalin to help, Dolain frowned. His arms crossed over his chest and if he was a bird, his feathers would have been ruffling. It was with this dark, annoyed expression that he greeted the approaching Falina. He glowered at her as she asked him questions, then offered her help. For a moment, Dolain wished he could get rid of the expression... the dwarf had such determination and a strong will that he felt she deserved some credit. His features softened subtly, but he kept his mouth shut in a thin line, letting Darrian speak instead, which the handsome elf didn't hesitate to do.
At the mention of going elsewhere, specifically his own place, Dolain took a deep, exasperated breath. He looked pointedly at Ordhan, "Dunno 'bout that...." Dolain mused, disliking the idea of having Ordhan in his pad. Yet, he did commit himself to helping Darrian and it had been his suggestion in the first place. He could also change clothes. Dolain moved his attention to Darrian as he responded, "I guess we could go to my place to figure stuff out, but you'd all have to be low-profile...." He glanced over at Falina, "or... as low-profile as you can be." Dolain's gaze smoothly surveyed the group around him. The two elves beside each other, Darrian and Davin, were hardly worrisome to bring into his place but the tall shem and pretty dwarf would garner attention. His lips went back to the thin line as Davin offered his help to Darrian. He felt a rush go through him at the words the other elf spoke. Words that spiked the alpha nature of Dolain. Yet, as he eyed Davin, he knew there was nothing to be truly threatened by, so he simply rolled his eyes, "Just what we need, another elf thinking they are familiar with the alienage."
Dolain's frown reappeared with the appearance of Cormac and the dog. It darkened as the shem not only jumped into the conversation without regard, but invited himself along with out any prior discussion. Dolain pointed at Shartan, "I will not allow that animal near my place if we go there." He didn't like the nod that Cormac gave to the other shem, almost as if there was a silent communication between the two. Dolain turned swiftly away from the group, the edge of his cape hitting the side of Darrian, "I'm tired of just standing around. If we want to plan at my place, then we should get going." Dolain started walking at a swift pace of light steps, almost leaps. He, desperately, wanted to run up onto the roofs and just go alone, but he knew that wasn't an option.
