Re: Alienage Back Entrance
Ordhan knew that Dolain's warning would not worry Falina, but it was still good to see her smile at him and hear her dismissal. He responded with a low chuckle, a rare grin creasing his features. Though it was likely a jest about their comparative heights, he had been more than a little worried about the back of his knees over the past couple days. It was a justified concern, with Dolain only a few feet behind him and no armor on the back of his legs. Ordhan did not take the assurance lightly. Though Falina was elbow-height, he did not doubt that she could protect in her own way; what she lacked in brute strength she made up for in cleverness, and him, quite the opposite. Despite many long days spent in this very clearing, Ordhan remained completely out of his element here. It balanced rather nicely between the two of them.
At the tug on his wrist he followed the young dwarf, easily keeping up with long strides even as his brows furrowed at their direction. Falina had sensed something in the parting shot, as well, but why follow trouble when it was walking away? But he had given his trust. He was not about to doubt it, even if her actions puzzled him. Following a pace behind Falina, Ordhan was careful to banish any trace of scorn or anger from his expression; he would not hinder whatever she was trying to do by looking antagonistic. He waited behind her as she spoke, appearing not unlike a solemn-faced bodyguard.
