The farther away she moved, the louder Dolain’s voice got. The louder Dolain’s voice got, the more it echoed against the creaky buildings of the alienage. A few side-conversations went silent. Dolain’s voice was familiar to many of the alienage inhabitants and its angry tone caused a hush as those nearby tried to pay attention to what was going on, “You know, I was proud of you." Dolain made a sweeping gesture, his arms moving as if he was giving a mocking bow. Anger stemming from confusion and disappointment was apparent in his expression, "I was soooo proud that my lovely Lalin had become something more than this,” He made a wide gesture to the alienage around him, “But if I knew you were just going to start acting like a dirty shem, I would have never.... Well, I know better now.” Dolain turned, beginning to walk in the opposite direction towards the back entrance. The momentary pause gave him a surge of ideas he had yet to say and after a couple steps, he turned to let them be heard, “And if you think you can trust these people, these shem and things that you hardly know.... well, then you are nothing but an idiot. Everything, everything, I have taught you has gone to waste. When something truly bad goes down, you’ll see just how trustful your precious new friends will be.” Dolain began to turn, his gaze scanning over the group as he did. The gaze landed upon Falina. He pointed to the girl with a strong determination, “That goes for you too.” He gave a clear directed glare at Ordhan beside her, “Don’t get too comfortable with this group. They will say things to make you trust them, but the second it becomes inconvenient, they'll leave.” Dolain brought his hands up to his cloak, flipping the hood up. Half of his flushed face disappeared into shadow, but the swollen jaw was still visible. The elf turned to Darrian, "C'mon, Darrian, these people won't help you find the justice the alienage really needs."
