Ashya seemed to cross over from glee at his presence to concern at his presence far more readily than he would have imagined. After all, he had spent the majority of his life within the tower, being trained specifically to fight and capture mages; he wasn't sure how darkspawn would be too different. He had read about them, sure, and listened to things that people who had heard tales from before said, weaving their way in and out of the Tower on missions here and there – but it wouldn't be any worse for him than it would be for anyone else, right? And he'd just had all that.. Special training. Not for darkspawn, but even just having it in the first place made him feel better about his own capabilities.
'Breaking off on my own?' Her question itself confused him a little bit. Of course, she didn't know that he was tethered to Enchanter Lee for the next.. ever. All he'd said was that he was guarding her while she travelled. But still. 'Not if I can help it..' he said, trailing off. The rest of her words, are you sure you should be doing this right now were a little closer to things than he would have appreciated, and he was sincerely grateful for Ser Aurin's intervention within their increasingly awkward 'reunion'. The older templar had come over with a loud laugh and a grin for them both, and Loïc worked an unsteady one back in response, equally as glad for the man's attention quickly going elsewhere. He tried to make sure that he didn't return all of his attention back to Ashya either, instead looking over at Lee as she spoke to the others.
Right now, he was really glad to not have as much attention as she was receiving.. He glanced over at the dog again, who really looked like she wasn't much more pleased with things at the moment than he happened to be himself. At least there was more than one uncomfortable member in the new party. Hopefully they would all cease the greetings and start.. going somewhere. Not that he didn't appreciate getting to know the people he would be travelling with – although he already seemed to know a fair few of them – he just felt like his skin was too thick between him and his armour and his legs were jittery and it was really time to get going. He continued watching the ones who were apparently in charge of things for any signs of such forward motion.
