Her eyes remained fixed on the Mabari, Noa, as the two strangers accompanying Aurin and Ashya hovered near her, making introductions and attempting to ease a fear she did not have. Lee was not at all afraid of the hound just a few paces from where she stood and if she could the mage would have loved nothing more than to sit beside Noa and hug the Mabari but… Snorting lightly she shook her head at the impossibility of such a feat, nothing they could do would ever make her forget the very real danger she presented towards this Mabari or any animal –towards anyone really. Lee knew, she knew it would be better, safer, if she simply kept her distance.
Blinking as her rather dim turn her thoughts had taken she let out a small sigh, shoulders slumping ever so slightly. “I am beginning to sound like an Isolationist. How silly,” she finally said, voice barely above a whisper. She was being far too gloomy for the occasion. She was outside of the Tower and such a rare opportunity should not be squandered by being needlessly morose.
Rolling her eyes at her own foolishness she pointedly looked away from the Mabari and turned to face Coan and Hilda. Running a shaking hand through her hair, tremulous smile plastered across her face, she offered the two a shallow nod in greeting. “Pardon me,” she said, voice barely above a whisper. Gaze flickering back to Noa Lee took in a deep breath and forced herself to focus on the two humans standing before her, offering them a more proper bow. “My name is Lee, nothing more than that I am afraid. You may call me Enchanter though if that comforts you to use but my name is sufficient on its own. Formalities are not necessary. It is a pleasure.”
“And I do want to thank you both,” she continued gently, “but I am not afraid of your companion who I am sure is as intelligent as you claim if not more so.” Pausing the mage glanced to the side at the Mabari, wincing at first before letting out a shuddering breathe and straightening her shoulders. “And Madame Noa I would appreciate it greatly if you were not to jump upon me or even come closer than you are now if at all possible. That way I will be comfortable and you will be safe. A fair bargain, yes?”
Finished blathering like a fool Lee felt her cheeks heat up ever so slightly in embarrassment, one hand halfway to her ear before she even realized. Freezing in place she slowly lowered her hand, clasping it firmly with her other and offered up a smile far more at ease than what had been previously presented. “Once more I thank you for your concern. You are both far too kind. Truly my most sincere thanks and I must apologize for worrying you.”
Head tilting slightly to the side she froze, drawing back in surprise when she spotted Aurin standing right beside Coan and Hilda. How long had he been there? As the shock from his not so sudden appearance melted away her small smile grew into a warm grin for the Templar. It was strange and somewhat worrying how oblivious and forgetful she became the moment something made her anxious, she had not even noticed he had been right in front of her, had forgotten he was around entirely. Yet there he was, standing clearly before her, all in one piece, armor included, and it was wonderful to see him. A relief even.
“A joy to see you, Aurin, and looking so well.” Cocking her head to the side she peered carefully at the younger man. "What brings you back to the Tower? I had been led to believe you had gone off to assist the Grey Wardens. Did something happen?"
