Oh, how did she get to be here? As the Templar and Constans tensely bantered between each other, Thais could only feel her cheeks reddening even more. How come she could control the powerful flow of mana through her body, but couldn’t stop a blush coming to her face? It just wasn’t fair. None of this was. Thais firmly crossed her arms over her chest, bringing her gaze to the side. She stared at the templar cots, trying to ignore the other two. It was impossible to do as the templar ushered them out towards the corridor. Tensing, she swiftly walked past the templar, the prideful glower still upon her features.
At the sudden statement focused towards her from the templar, she looked over. She shook her head softly as if in disbelief of the templar’s words. There was no need for this man to report such activity. He could easily overlook it and no one would be the wiser. It was his decision to follow the Chantry code to the book and ruin already ruined lives with something that was nothing more than a task to him.
As she looked away from the templar, she had an odd mixture of disbelief (the wide eyes and raised eyebrows), embarrassment (the flushed cheeks and refusal to make eye contact) and annoyance (the tensed jaw and tight line her lips made) upon her features. She noticed Constans glancing at her and the look he gave only added confusion. Her steps slowed as Constans began to speak again. Oh, could he just shut up? She couldn’t help but think. Was it terribly too hard for the apprentice to keep his pretty mouth shut? However, as he spoke, her confusion rose and she regretted her own thoughts. Glancing towards where the main corridor loomed ahead, Thais stopped walking altogether. She stared at Constans before looking at the templar with bated breath, keeping any words that she might speak to herself. What was Constans trying to do now? The templar was sure to ask for an explanation... would he have one?
