"You've all caught me traveling, I'm afraid. To Vigil's Keep in Amaranthine," she supplied, naming her destination straightforwardly. The reminder of the task was effective enough to remove traces of her earlier joviality, her youthful appearance suddenly much more serious. She was going to say something further, words ready to invite the rest to the fire and get off their feet for the night, but Alderic did it for her and she wasn't about to make things redundant.
"No objections. I was going to offer anyway," she replied, her smile hooking upwards at the corner. She lifted a hand to gesture to the surrounding forest. "The location is easily defensible -- at least now it is with a few spare bodies to keep watch. There's plenty of dry timber to keep the fire going through the night. A few yards in that way..." She pointed to the specific location. "Is a small lake, for water and a bath, though it's quite cold, just to warn. If your party wishes for some dinner, there's plenty of game around... but it's difficult to see in the dark the further you venture in. It's pitch black, I wouldn't recommend straying too far out -- people get lost here easily. I've set a small kettle on the fire to boil water for tea, but I can always make more for whoever wants it."
