"Actually..." Conlan said approaching the group. "it might not be a bad idea to just leave them."
Conlan stayed silent, trying to tend to the wounded as much as he could as they bickered back and fourth. He'd found in his life that things were rarely black and white, that often one made very bad decisions in order to survive. It was something Conlan understood from from first hand experience. But more then that, he knew exactly how much the guilt of a stupid choice could eat at you. The girl had done something very bad, Conlan didn't doubt that, but his life had taught him to be a bit unorthodox in his handling of situations.
He looked at Lalin with a nod.
"We're Grey Wardens, we fight darkspawn, and we have a mission. What are we going to do, take her to Denerim, and stay there for the full course of what the ocurts are going to put her through?" Con turned his gaze toward the woman, but continued speaking.
"And would it be any worse then leaving her here, with the full knowledge that every single life lost here, every injured person is entirely her fault? Or leaving her with the rest of these merchants knowing that she brought this down on them?" He looked back to the group.
"But still it's... really not our call to make." He looked over at Ordhan, the man was a knight, and a representative of the crown. He had the authority to do something about it, but the Wardens didn't.
"It's you're call in the end. You can drag her to Denerim in manacles. Personally I'd say there's no worse punishment then making someone face the consequences of their actions. Up to her if she wants to let it drive her crazy, or if she wants to try and make amends, but if you think spending the next several days making a young girl pay for her stupid mistakes in the courts is the most valuable use of your time, I've got no call to stop you." Finally he nodded towards Davin and the other elves.
"But I think it's more important to take care of the victims, and do the job we've been assigned."
