One of the humans Ordhan had struck was staggering from the bow, too shaken to counterattack or continue his assault against the elf. Ordhan stared at both of them. He would not move on and let them at one another's throats again until they had relented.
The human obeyed first, fury radiating from him as he flung the club away. He called for the others to follow suit. It seemed that he had some authority among the humans, despite his appearance: he was heavy set and was not armored, but then again, none of them were. This was a sudden fight, bloody and desperate, and unraveling it could prove quite complicated.
Ordhan was dimly aware of others following his command as the sounds of battle quieted to a brittle hush. The elf who had been under attack obeyed as well, crumpling to his knees as the sword slipped from his hand. His opponent hissed at him in a whisper laden with hatred. Though Ordhan could not make out what was said, the menace was clear in his scowl. A flicker of fear passed over the young elf's haggard face.
The elf spoke, voice laced with exhaustion but no less earnest for it. Ordhan's mouth pressed into a thin line as he studied him, still wary for signs of movement from the human. He jerked his head to one side. "See to your wounded," he said, loud enough for the rest to hear. This would need to be sorted out, but there were injured to tend, and it would serve no purpose to let them all suffer and bleed out while the truth was wrangled out of all of this.
A cry of pain rang out not far away, marring the tense truce that had fallen. Dolain was standing over a human on the ground, bow in hand; the man was gritting stifled curses through his teeth as he clutched at an arrow-pierced foot. Blasted, damned, cursed elf, attacking a human who had already surrendered and disarmed! By the Maker's grace, it didn't incite a backlash of violence, but it would certainly not help things. Ordhan did not put his sword away. It was not above Dolain to take advantage of the situation to torment more humans, but it was not above Ordhan to clout him if he tried.
