The elf laughed at the explanation, finding it extremely amusing in that it explained very little of anything. "Exactly," he agreed, glancing over at the little girl, who was being given some treat by one of the pirate girls and was squealing excitedly. "Don't look now, but I think she's turning your scary pirates into girls," he couldn't help adding, dark eyes glinting mischievously.
He looked curiously at Alerrin, who had the same expression that he'd had all along - well, at least after the misunderstanding had been cleared. When Viara had been in danger, his face had been much more expressive. "I think he'd have gutted me had I hurt you," he said pensively, glad things had worked out in such a way that he hadn't lost any vital limbs. "Does he ever smile? He's kinda good looking, isn't he?" he added with a straight face.
"As for what I'm good for..." a small smile curved his lips. "I'm afraid you know the answer to that, but it won't help you much, ship wise. I can hit people pretty hard when the occasion calls for it...but really, I have no idea what I can do on board. I'll try my hand at everything and see what I don't fail at, how's that?"
