'Of course you did..' he said somewhat sullenly, both pleased and dismayed at her forethought and preparation. 'And you had the patience to wait a whole week?'
He looked up at the panel she was apparently indicating, seeing mostly just rocks and wall. There was no panel there. The girl had gone menta- Oh wait. What was that? He peered a bit closer, running his hand over the surface of the stones. Well damn. There was a groove there, and now that he'd found that, the panel she was trying to indicate stood out as well as anything else. How about that. He made a 'huh' noise, more to himself than to her, and reached up to place his hand on the panel. It was a bit of a stretch, but he managed it without anything silly like stumbling around on his tiptoes. He was fairly well pressed up against the wall though, and he craned his neck down and over to look at her as she continued speaking.
'I don't know if Tranquil can actually be sneaky..' Loïc's brow furrowed a little with the thought. He knew that they could be evasive, and coud lie when it was within the interests of the Circle or the Chantry, but being sneaky seemed like it required a whole other level of.. Understanding, that most Tranquil seemed to lack.
He turned away and grinned when she asked him if he wasn't just waving the sword around in the hopes that it would ward people off by itself.
'Of course I'm not,' he said, turning back to her, still flat against the wall and pushing on the panel. 'Well. Mostly.' He couldn't say that he ALWAYS knew what he was doing, but he had things down in theory, if not in practice. And he was very quick at manoeuvres; it was really just a power that he was currently lacking. 'I can teach you sometime, you'll just need to find me when I'm not already dying.' Pause. 'Are you gonna turn the key or what?'
