He decided to ignore her amusement at his own disgruntled demeanour, focusing instead on following her lead and not running into things, and letting her drag him along. He wasn't that annoyed, and what annoyance he did have was dissipating fairly quickly anyhow. Her enthusiasm was, as per usual, infectious, and it was difficult not to be excited about possibly seeing the inside of the storeroom, even if he didn't want to admit it just yet. It was a little curious, how they were all SO secretive about it, if it was just a storeroom. Perhaps there was something to her idea. It was probably just sugar induced fantasy, but still.. An aspect of him was probably going to be five forever, and secret things was altogether too fascinating.
'I would not try to read between my sentences right now. I'm far too tired to add subtext.' He smothered another yawn, covering his mouth with the back of his hand. 'No upper levels tonight, please. I don't want to have to deal with too many stairs when we have to start running from someone. But, food sounds like an excellent idea.'
And oh that was right. Teaching her about fighting. 'Are you strong enough to hold up one of the swords yet?' he teased, prodding the arm that she was using to keep him from running away or whatever with. 'You seem a bit noodley, still.'
He shook he head when she continued on. 'You don't need to work on it, trust me. And yes. I am here to make sure you don't do crazy things and lose your head. I can't do that if you drag me to the storeroom in the middle of the night, or set my bed on fire, or jump on me..' He wasn't all that stuffy about things, but at this point it was more amusing than anything. 'But I doubt I much that much sway with you in particular anyhow.'
