Conlan was resting against the basin when Signy finally woke up. He'd managed to throw up once more while she was out and was pretty sure he'd emptied the contents of his stomach now. He was feeling much better and when the waves of pain arrived he mostly only ended up belching. When Signy started talking again he blinked, and then yawned before speaking.
"It's okay. I can't quite remember yours either. I think we'd both would have if not for the drinking a deadly toxin, and heaving most of the night." He paused to rest his head on the cold stone bench next to the basin.
"It's Conlan... and... you were talking about how you were the first dwarf mage. How'd that turn out for you?"
