She walked beside him easily now, finding it comfortable to keep pace with him now that he seemed more relaxed in her company. She felt his gaze drift over her, and smiled at him. She was glad that he was starting to relax, and feel at ease. She suspected that most of his encounters with or opinions about humans might have been poor in the past. She wasn't certain, but after the way that he'd been almost forcibly taken by that group of Templars, the way that the broad-shouldered Knight had glared in his direction occasionally. He'd also looked towards the other Dalish, and the assassin in suspicion. It was obvious the man just didn't like elves.
At his words she turned to study his face, curiosity in the depths of her grey eyes. They traced over the patterns on his face, trying to read them as if they were words. If those represented his clan and his gods, he was wearing his faith plainly upon his face. She admired him for that; him and his people. It must be hard to hold onto those things when faced with possible death, while trying to avoid the grasping hand of the ever-growing arm of the Chantry.
"I think she must have, though to be honest, she didn't elaborate much. And it didn't seem right to ask." She thought about Seda now and again, a woman who had become as close to a friend as Imenry could count, aside from perhaps Viara, in a mere matter of days. She wondered where the young woman was now, what she was doing. Maybe she'd once been a part of Faer's clan, though she didn't think to ask.
"Do all elves choose to receive the tattoos? Or is it purely personal choice?" she asked, tilting her head slightly as she regarded him. "I notice you and your friend have slightly different ones... what do they mean?" She wanted to ask other questions, about their gods, their religion, because it sounded more like her own beliefs than anything she'd previously heard of in Ferelden. She wondered how he must deal with the fact that everything he was and believed in was considered against the Chantry law. She understood this entirely.
