Standing and waiting was no stranger to the knight, and certainly not to one formerly a guard. Time slipped easily by. He did not mind in the least that the time set for meeting had likely passed. Ordhan used the time studying the area by the gates, searching for anything of interest that he could point out. Statues, a staircase, a door leading to a cellar, a well with a bucket...yes, this would be a very exciting tour.
His searching gaze finally fell upon a small figure running towards him. It was Falina, of course, dark hair streaming behind her and an anxious look on her face. She was fairly gasping for breath when she stopped, an apology spilling out as she recovered. A smile spread over his face, but it was apologetic, and he shook his head.
"There's no need to apologize, Falina. The Keep is large, and you can't be expected to know your way around already. I should have realized that. No time was wasted." As he answered, he noticed the curious look she was giving him. He couldn't guess what it was for, and she offered no explanation. Perhaps there was a question she wanted to ask. If so, Ordhan supposed it would come out in time.
"I'm well. I am glad you wanted to come," he added, his smile grateful. "How did you rest?" It was a real concern, given the length of her journey. At the moment, winded and breathless, she didn't seem very well-rested.
