"Ashya?" Deidre grinned broadly enough that a covert dimple creased on her left cheek, visible only when she wore the expression she was at the moment. "She's an adorable little thing, isn't she? So curious and wide eyed and poking at things. She reminded me a bit of me when I was her age....except I was already traveling by that point." Though when she revealed that they had a mutual acquaintance, she couldn't help but blink in surprise. "Really? Huh...I was wondering how you heard of me, but I didn't want to ask. It wouldn't do for me to seem egotistical in a first meeting, right?"
She laughed. "Did he tell all sorts of embarrassing stories about me?" she teased, nudging Imenry playfully with an elbow. "Or you know, highly exaggerated accounts as to how I almost got him killed multiple times? If he ever said that to you, don't believe him. He gets into his own trouble bad enough, and sometimes I'm in the vicinity. Those events don't necessarily have anything to do with me." She inspected the new bottle she was just handed, before uncorking it and twirling the spongy object absently between her fingers. "We've known each other for a while, Aurin and me. I met him on a boat called the Northern Star after a daring jailbreak in Rivain."
She glanced over at the woman's last, furrowing her brows. "Do you really believe that though?" she asked. "I mean...wouldn't you rather they remember you fondly when the time comes and they're still around? It's my aim, you know. Whenever I leave this world...I want those who remember me to think of me and smile. Or at least tell a bunch of stories about me because Maker only knows I've done enough crazy shenanigans. I'm pretty sure some of the people in the Keep won't be forgetting my version of the Orlesian Can-Can anytime soon."
