The Templar didn’t know the root of all the problems, but he could guess something at the very least. He just watched the woman for a moment before he smirked just slightly towards her. “…yes. He would have.”, he added with a smile towards her. “He knows you better than I do. Don’t defend him though, he is indeed an idiot. At least at one time or another.”
He sighed quietly towards her as he raised his other hand to rest on his shoulder. “Come now. You’re a Sister. Come now, its not luck it’s the will of the Maker isn’t it?” He replied with a wink towards the nervous woman. “Have a bit of faith. I think we can all need a bit of that at the moment.” he murmured quietly towards her.
His hand tightened around hers for just a moment in support as she let it rest there.
He frowned then at the question though before he sighed. “No. I’ve not seen an Archdemon. I’ve seen demons, bloodmages, and some of the worst that mankind has to offer though.” His words were slow to come as he frowned down towards the Sister. “He never needs to know what he’s getting into. He’d do it just so one of us doesn’t have to.”, he paused for a moment before he sighed once more. “I’m sorry.”, he added. “It should have been me that offered to go instead of him.”
“What? You can’t punch him?” his words turning to a smile and a chuckle escaped his lips. “I know that’s not true. You’ve punched the both of us plenty of times.” His smile was soft, and his words were still quiet as he watched the woman.
“He’ll be back Dee. Too call you Deidre just like usual so you can frown at him, just like you always do.”
