"To be fair, I was trying to kill him too... That was actually where I first met Cormac. We were guarding a shipment of goods on the way to South Reach." She glanced at the man still sitting beside her, now talking with the tall blonde woman who possessed a striking accent to go along with her almost delicately featured face. Her gaze drifted back towards Ordhan and she caught the glimmer of his weak smile, knowing he must be worried for his friend.
"They're different girls, but both sweet and so young." She shook her head slightly. "They argue though. They're from two completely different parts of Orzammar, and though they grew up in the same city... you might think it was different worlds. And Rhocanth, well he's quite the little gentleman. I think he has a little crush." She let a smile flicker over her own lips. She could do nothing but imagine they were all going to walk out of that place alive and well tonight, because to think otherwise would suck away the threads of hope she was clinging to since they'd found out just how deadly this joining ritual could be. Imenry let out a long puff of air.
There were times when she felt the same as Ordhan, most times in fact, when she was faced with the fact that she was a stranger to this world, it's people and it's way of life. But to come to a place and know so many of the names gathered within the walls was shocking. It was almost as though throughout those last two years of her life, since she'd come down from the mountains, fate was leading her right to this spot. She wasn't sure what to think of that. She didn't know if she believed in "meant to be" or destiny. She wanted to believe she had more control over her own life.
