She was not at all surprised at the look her sword had garnered. After all, it was a massive sword, and it wasn't even that often than one would find a man wielding a weapon of such a size. She nodded towards the mage, Enchanter Thais Keigwin, and wondered momentarily how the woman would prefer to be addressed. She always went for the most proper title, as some people tended to be rather touchy about certain things. She could judge later on if the woman preferred less formality.
"Is that so? Well Enchanter, you couldn't find a better teacher. Ser Ordhan certainly knows what he's doing with a blade." She raised a brow though, her expression curious. "I'm interested though. I didn't know mages used swords." Indeed most of the ones she'd run across thus far had stuck to simple staves. "I guess it's intelligent though, not to rely on magic alone."
Indeed she couldn't fault the woman for thinking of other ways to defend herself, especially if they were going to be heading after Darkspawn. She turned towards Ordhan and grinned. "I think he's finally working on getting some armor as well, thankfully." She stepped back slightly, moving out of their way.
"But you came to spar didn't you? Not to chat. Let me know if you would like any help or suggestions." The Enchanter was at least as tall as Imenry herself, but she lacked a lot of the basic musculature needed to easily wield a sword. "There are some practice swords over there..." she said, motioning to a rack against a nearby wall. "Which may be good to start. Maybe a one-handed short sword or something of the like?"
