Thais noticed the subtle falter and soft furrow on Ordhan’s brow. It caused her to softly frown as well for a moment. She was use to interactions among other mages. Especially in her circle of Libertarian minded peers, joking about the fears of others often were common. She was starting to realize that making such jests with people outside of the tower, people that may have never interacted with a mage before, was a bit insensitive. She hadn’t meant to make the atmosphere any type of awkward and she offered a small smile at Ordhan’s polite response.
“I doubt I would ever need to.” Thais stated in a comforting voice. It almost seemed that she was going to place a hand on Ordhan’s shoulder when she added, “Please excuse my comment. Apparently I have already been spending too much time with Conlan.”
She brought her gaze away from Ordhan when they reached the training grounds. Thais surveyed the area with a glance before looking at the one other person. She raised an eyebrow, a critical look ran over the claymore. It wasn’t that Thais disapproved (though her expression could be read as such by a sensitive person), she just couldn’t imagine how the woman could lift the sword with such ease when she, herself, had such trouble with Ordhan’s sword. The expression quickly disappeared as the woman began to speak to Ordhan. Thais kept a polite gaze, letting it flicker between the two.
At the smile and question directed towards her, Thais cleared her throat and nodded, “I am Enchanter Thais Keigwin of the Ferelden Circle. It’s a pleasure to meet you…” Thais glanced at the sword for a quick second before smiling back at Imenry. She did a small bow, “…Imenry.”
