Thais opened her eyes to gaze at the icy cloud of mist that had appeared along her staff. She watched the specks of snow crystals glisten. Moving slowly but confidently, the woman set the end of the staff down upon the ground. The cloud of ice moved down from the top of the staff rapidly as if gravity had suddenly taken hold. The snow crystals spread out over the grass, quickly forming a sheet of ice around Thais in a circle.
Once the last of the crystals had formed into ice, she relaxed her stance. Looking around at the ice, she gently tapped her foot against it. The sheet was sturdy but thin. It was exactly what she had been going for and she smiled at the success.
Looking up, she gazed around the courtyard again. Her vision had become use to the sunlight now and she was able to make out more details than before. She was considering what spell to practice next when her attention suddenly was demanded by a figure nearby. The familiar body shape caused a soft blush to rise in Thais’ cheeks. Very carefully, she stepped over the sheet of ice and began towards the tranquil.
It had been just a few days since she last saw the man. She had enjoyed her time with him. It had been a while since she interacted with Constans. Once he had become tranquil at the tower, she never really went out of her way to speak to him. It was such a shame what had happened and Thais didn’t want to get caught up in thinking about it. Yet having the young man around had a weird soothing effect on her nerves and she was grateful for his obedience with her request from the days before. Even if the obedience was driven by the odd tranquil desire to do well for the circle, Thais preferred to believe Constans chose to go along with her out of his free will. She had been a bit worried when that one man had seen them, but luckily that was taken care of. Thais wasn’t too worried about those that didn’t understand Circle dynamics anyways. They wouldn’t even know what to report, let alone the correct way to go about doing so.
Thais swayed up to Constans, “Well, well…” She began, a bright smile appearing upon her features, “If it isn’t my favorite Circle boy,” Her gaze roved over Constans’ dirty chest before looking back up, “I see you’ve been working quite hard.” She kept a hand on her staff, keeping her composure in a regal posture… though her hips continued to sway from side to side subtly, “You are /so/ dirty.” Her eyebrows raised and a mischievous glint was clear in her eyes, “I do hope you plan on taking a bath.”
