"I'm fine... knocked the wind out of me for a second is all. You get used to shaking things off during battle." She turned to watch Falina get out her own weapon.
"No... I don't know how well that works really.. A lot of times they wear shin guards. If they don't you'll probably just piss them off..." She offered the girl a smile. "Don't worry. I promise, not a scratch on you." She moved forward, then held her dagger down and out in front of her.
"Okay put your dagger blade to blade against mine... like we're fighting." She waited until Falina had done so, then nodded once. "Okay now, when I press against your dagger with mine, turn your blade towards me like so..." she demonstrated by moving Falina's wrist. "Until the hand guard catches firmly, and thrust hard." She pushed Falina's arm, hand and dagger forwards firmly, but gently, catching her own blade and causing it to fly out of her hands.
