Imenry drew the door of the shack shut behind her as she stepped back into the sunlight. Not that she'd really expected him to be there, but the place hadn't changed much. Hadn't been broken into at least, though he seemed to have taken a couple of tokens with him when he'd left. Not that she'd been looking for them, at least not terribly hard. She fingered the small key in her hand and locked the door, before slipping it back into place atop the door frame. What an obvious hiding space really, she thought with a shake of her head. But he had said that he didn't really fear anything being stolen.
Her boots echoed across the creaky boards of the docks as she walked, gaze drawn out over the flat plane of the lake. It was quiet here, a bit off the path from the center of the village, where most of their little group was probably still at right now. She'd left Signy with Rhocanth and in the care of the Legionnaires at the Blacksmiths. The girl had wanted to look around and Imenry figured she was safe enough with the others. She also wanted a moment to herself, just to do this, to remember. Avoiding the loose plank she made her way towards the edge of the docks and lowered herself to sit. Her boots barely skimmed against the surface of the water. She shifted the claymore and her pack off her back, setting both down beside her.
Not far away she could see a pair of men fishing, gnarled hands grasping at bowed poles, chattering to one another and ignoring her presence down the dock. She preferred it that way. She laid her palms flat against the dock behind her and leaned her weight back against them, tilting her head back. The sun caressed her face, warming her skin. It felt... peaceful here and she let her eyes slip closed, her mind wandering away. There had not been many peaceful moments in her life in these past two years, and she could recall every single one of them now if she tried. Instead she tried not to think at all.
