It felt very suddenly cold when she stepped back, leaving him without her warmth or her scent. Rho stepped back to match, shuffling on the cold floor and shoving his hands deep into his pockets. He grinned sheepishly, seemingly unsure of what to say. It was a lot, and he had let himself get carried away. The well-trained part of his nature scolded him for letting him leap at a girl he barely knew, who was probably terrified out on the surface anyway, but the rest of him said it had been a good thing.
