Rhocanth didn't let her tremble alone, holding her close especially when she stepped closer. He could practically feel the vibrations coming off her nerves, as electric as the lightning outside. A particularly large bolt lashed light across the window, lighting up her face in his field of vision for a moment. The silver light, like a streak of ore in black rock, suited her marvelously. His fingers ghosted over hers on his chest, encouraging her touch before gliding down her side and settling on her hip, not too low and not too high.
The feeling of her tongue against his top lip was sweet in its slowness, charming in its caution. It almost made him smile, if he hadn't already been quite busy. He rewarded her curiosity with something new. Before her tongue could dart away from him, he gave it a little flick with his own, then nipped the plush center of her lower lip.
