"But I suppose it's not the place of an outsider to say things like that. I don't really know what it's actually like in Orzammar. I guess I'm just sorry to hear you couldn't go back if you wanted." She frowned slightly. "Gherlon the Blood-Risen?"
She felt drawn to smile at Signy in return to the warm expression spreading over the girl's face though, and settled a hand against her shoulder. "Since Grey Wardens are not under the thumb of the Chantry it basically means that they would have no authority over you. You don't have to be guarded or locked away in a tower like others here are. And I'm glad you put your trust in me Signy, I'll do my best to live up to that."
She fell silent at the next question and her eyes grew sort of distant. "Very far south actually... a small village in the mountains. It was different there, from the rest of Ferelden."
