Eyebrow twitching she clenched her fist before she reached for one of her daggers instead of the torn piece of fabric. Gritting her teeth she pasted on a smile and glared down at him. Voice sickly sweet she increased the pressure on his arm. “Now why would I want to do that to myself? I’m not a masochist.”
Smile widening she plucked the piece of fabric from his fingers and went about wrapping his wound. Frowning down at it (it shouldn’t be bleeding that much) she slowly wound the makeshift bandage over his arm, around and around. Reaching the end she tied it off and added a little bow just to spite him. Smacking him once on the arm she drew back. “All set! You’ll want something else to wrap it later. I doubt your shirt is that clean and a dry bandage would be better. Still it will have to do for now. Or until I dry off some of the bandages in my pack.”
Backing away from him she stood up and stretched, easing the stiffness from her muscles. Up on her toes she threw her arms high in the air and spread them wide. Hissing in relief as everything popped back into place she rubbed at her face, trying to get rid the grit from her eyes. Pulling it away she stared at her hand in disgust, scrubbing at her face furiously with her other hand she glared down at the blood drenched palm. “Charming.”
She could still hear the mercenaries searching outside, scouring the water for them. “It would be convenient if your armor got them to leave but I doubt it. They’ll probably try and search for our bodies, mine anyways. They still want this.” Patting at the package to emphasize her point she sighed once more. This thing was more trouble than it was worth.
Spinning in a small circle she took in their surroundings. It was rather small and the ceiling sloped backwards, she doubted the man could stand at his full height in here if her fingertips grazed the surface as she stretched where the ceiling was the highest. Luckily it was dry and hidden and that was all she really cared about at the moment.
One with her perusal she walked to the wall opposite the warrior she leaned back and slouched to the floor. Drawing her legs up to her she stared at him for a moment. “It seems my vacation plans have been ruined. Instead of hanging around basking in the sun doing nothing I have to spend my time in a dank cave with you… you… whoever you are.”
