Aurin wolf-grinned right back at the elf. He wasn’t about to let her get the better of him, even if he did have an arrow in his arm. “Well, good.” He shot back towards Seda as he held still to let her close on him. His eyes strayed back towards the entrance as he frowned slightly in thought. “Well if they find pieces of my armor downstream then that might just add to the illusion. Oh…” he groaned as a thought struck him. “…Maker, the damn armorer is going to kill me.”
Thankfully its wasn’t his real suit, just his traveling suit. None the less the Order weapon smiths already headed the Templar. He kept loosing armor, or swords. It was like a curse. He didn’t even know exactly what he did to deserve it all.
“I guess I was,” he replied towards Seda with a smirk towards her. She was pretty, even though she did look like a drowned cat at the moment. The pretty didn’t make up for how annoying she was though. Not in the least. He winced as she snapped her hand around her arm. With no warning he found the arrow being ripped out of it and he nearly bit down on his own tongue to stop from crying out. As it was he kicked out with his leg to smash his booted foot against the side of the small cave. “A little warning next time!”
He pulled himself up to lean against the side of the cave for a moment as he watched the elf work. His eyes nearly crossed as she thrust the poultice towards him. He snatched it out of the air with a muttered thanks. Glaring at the bottle like the poor bit of glass was the one that had shot him he waited till she needed it once more. He winced and muttered as she cleaned the wound before asking for the tunic and cloth. “You just want to see me shirtless don’t you?” He countered, though he handed the torn and sodden strip of cloth over willingly enough.
