Too exhausted to move she remained on the ground, staring up at him. Raking her eyes over his body she looked for any injuries, ignoring the rather prominent one in the form of an arrow. Sighing in relief when she didn’t find any other injuries she turned her attention back to his arm. The blood was trickling down is arm steadily and he wasn’t looking so good.
He wouldn’t die, which was good. It meant she would have the chance to kill him herself. It would be such a pity if one of those mercenaries had killed him before she had the chance to.
Trailing her eyes over him again she could see him shaking from exhaustion, possibly the cold, or perhaps even both. Eyes landing on his foot she bit back a laugh but couldn’t hold back the smirk that rose up. “Only your incredibly well defended foot. It must have weighed you down.”
Mustering all her energy Seda slowly pushed herself up off the ground. Dizzy, she grabbed hold of her head as the world spun. Gritting her teeth she waited for everything to slow down again. The moment it did she reached out for the wall and shakily pulled herself to her feet.
Breathing deeply she turned to look over at… she still didn’t know his name. Brow furrowing she bit her lip and stared at him for a moment. It wasn’t that important considering everything else that had happened, was happening, but it seemed strange that she didn’t know it. Shaking her head she put it to the side and focused on the warrior in front of her. “You should probably take that out. You might want to check that it isn’t poisoned. Do you require help?”
Smiling at him she walked forward. She would help him, of course, but that didn’t mean she would make it easy on him. Cocking her head to the side she contemplated just ripping out the arrow and stabbing him and his stupid lips. Or maybe she could just strangle him, not even bother with the arrow, just choke that stupid smirk right off his damn face.
Keeping her smile up she continued to walk closer, stopping a few feet from him. “And I believe you got shot somewhere else as well. I don’t know how well you will be able to reach that on your own. I would really be more than happy to help.”
