Leaning back she watched as the blade severed the berserker’s head. Eye glittering in delight her lips pulled back over her teeth revealing a fierce grin. Covered in the bastard’s blood she watched as he crumbled to the ground, head rolling away. Half-crazed with relief she bit back the giggle that was straining to be heard.
Eyes wide her head snapped around when the strange man spoke. Lips pursed and one eyebrow raised eye she stared at him for a moment. Who did he think he was? She didn’t know him, he wasn't her friend. He was just some strange man with peculiar timing. Like she was going to trust this sorry sod. “I am fine.”
Leaning back on the balls of her feet she crossed her arms and glared over at him. “What we are you speaking of? Do you think I am going to go with you? Who do you think you are?”
One foot tapping on the ground she cocked her hip to the side and placed a hand there still glaring at him, waiting for his answer. She had places she needed to be and she just wanted him to make his move already. Whatever it was that he was planning she just wanted it to be over and done with, no guessing games.
