Teeth grit and hands trembling, from equal parts cold and rage, she furiously ripped off article after article of clothing as she listened to the Templar behind her until she stood in nothing but her underclothes which she was not taking off in his presence. Ever. No matter what she was determined not to pity him, refused to even think about it. He didn't deserve her pity.
Staring intently at the rocky walls of their temporary prison her lips curled back in a snarl, ready to tear into him. Then, against her will, her lashes curled shut and her mouth scrunched into a grimace. He had been sold. Sold. Those slavers had deserved worse than just having their necks broken. Disgusting filth ridden bastards.
Cursing under her breath, her motions jerky, she froze in shock as a sudden weight dropped onto her shoulders. Puffing up like an angry cat she ripped the blanket off and whirled around, curses no longer for her ears only. “What do you think you’re,” catching sight of his naked flesh she reared back as if burned and spluttered. “Warn someone first would you.” Spinning back around she paused long enough to glance at the scars marking his body, eyes analytical eye rather appreciative, before completing her turn.
Gaze firmly back on her stretch of cave, blanket hugged tightly against her chest, she pouted and muttered lowly to herself. “I did not need to see that.” Sinking to the ground with a slump her fingers ran idly over the soft fabric before she brought it up to her face and burrowed into the dry warmth it offered. Practically snuggling into it she let out a quiet sigh, happy for the moment. Then her kidnapper spoke again and that was all ruined.
Frowning, half listening to the man put on a show behind her, she shook out the blanket and wrapped it back around her shoulders. Huddling beneath the dry layer, body curling into a small ball, her head twisted back to glare at Ser Demarc. Ignoring his state of undress, entirely disinterested, she widened her eyes and opened her mouth in faux horror. Bringing up one hand to her lips she gasped, voice cloyingly sweet. “Your superior tried to kill you? Why I can’t imagine why. Poor darling.”
Snorting once, face settling back into the disenchanted look that came naturally in this human’s presence, she shifted and turned back to her wall. One arm rose above her head and her hand bobbed as she waved towards the cave entrance. “Go see if you can figure out if those guys are still out there. And try not to get shot, will you? If you do I won’t have anyone else to check for me.”
